Hey guys! It's been a while since I regularily visited; tbh I'll probably continue being really eratic visits since that's how my foruming tends to go buT I ALWAYS ENJOY VISITING YOU're all so sweet and great ;w;
I've done quite a bit with gaming over the last month so wanted to post an update on how I'm doing!
soo this was the last screenshot that I shared of my game collection:
recently I have also purchased a physical copy Ökamiden and a digital version of Final Fantasy Explorers!
I was also given Zelda:ALBW on my birthday but.. it was given to be by accident?? When my partner's mum was packing my present the game fell into my bag and she was like, 'I have no idea where this is from I guess I'll just give it to you' aND IT'S REALLY
the scenario was kind of funny. I'm not into Zelda games though so I'll just try to return it to the store and get store credit to buy eShop cards or... something, since I know I'll eventually use them.
Ökamiden is really super precious and it makes me happy because it reminds me of the days that I played Ökami on the PS2! I still recognize the fields and people and that basic recognition--but not super remembering anything--feels really appropriate for playing through as Amy's kid? everyone had kids it's kind of cute. I do find though that if I'm holding the stylus and pressing Y in battle it hurts my wrist after a couple of hours so... that's weird. I'm pretty excited for when I can get a rosary >:3 those were my favourite weapons. So far I'm at the story-part where the fireworks technician's stuff was stolen and I'm retrieving the goods so that the little girl can see them.
My partner got me involved in his 3DS gaming group and it's really nice to have reliably available multi-player! I've been playing Final Fantasy Explorers almost exclusively multi-player the whole time I've had the game... but I've fallen a little bit behind where most of those peeps are. They've mostly all gotten to the end of the story; I think I'm mid-way through the 3-star quests? Also I have a chocobo. Everyone was really excited about getting a chocobo (and a cactar, and later a magic pot) so immediately mauls those critters whenever they see them. I'm not that well versed in FF but I think it's really endearing and fun to be a part of! I mostly play as a support white mage with some time magic. Gravity is amazing omg.
I haven't made a whole bunch of progress in MH4U, but I do really super enjoy it. It's like... the MMORPG that never was? ignoring that it literally IS an MMORPG in its source-country, of course. I started out with bows but I've been trying out all the weapons and I also really like Insect Glaive. My partner says that that "makes sense because new weapons are always the most adept at fighting the new monsters in each game--Tri was Switch-Axe, so most peeps that swear by SA were probably Tri players", but I think I'd still play around with IG even in Cross for instance, since it's just really pretty fun. Fun of course doesn't mean I'm the most adept at it or anything... ha, I'm... uh.... I just unlocked my first Urgent Quest in story mode I believe. It's been a while since I opened up the game tbh.
In in Spring of Year 2 in Story of Seasons so far. I am waiting for Licorice in order to woo her since she's my favourite; I like all of the bachelorettes as people though, and a lot of the bachelors are pretty cool, I was really taken by surprise at how great all the characters are compared to when I played AWL! Also my farm is food themed. Everything is named after food. Which makes Licorice's name perfect.
I picked up PSMD the other day because I was determined to evolve my player character into Serperior so that I could have a Serperior-Fennekin team for personal taste. It's so great I'm an awesome snake all the time I love it. My last real dungeon in there was clearing the Genesect dungeon.... I ran that dungeon blind I.... I didn't realize it was all genesects... I would have never run that dungeon if I had researched it first. It was pain and I can never look at genesect without shuddering anymore. My character was a necromancer. It was our first treasure gained. Oh also we got a treasure from Coballion, so two treasures in the collection down.
I probably have like... half of all songs on hard with a SP-All crown in Project Mirai DX now? In tap mode of course, that's the mode I play in. Though recently, because my progress has stagnated a bit, I've also taken up to playing button mode with the touch screen. It's helped up my reaction time a bit and it really shows when I go back to tap mode and am trying to get the rest of the songs crowned. Like, I got the SP-All crown in Invisible on hard recently.... that was kinda crazy. Also it's nice to be getting more crowns on a regular basis via button mod:feat touch screen, .5 A presses or less, but the screen has so many dead zones that I miss like 3-4 notes a song just due to hitting the dead zone. Booo.

I now have the special all-clothes faces. It's absolutely exceptional. Now that I have all the clothes (I put off the boys for a long time since I don't actually... visit them ever.) I'm giving the vocaloids like 20K at a time so that they can buy whatever they want and eventually get me the item stamps ':3 because just clearing the store myself in one go would be boring. Plus they get the most expensive items left--30K items--for 15K with their vocaloid discount!
(Any games I didn't mention I haven't made any new progress in.)
