I recently watched the new Game Overthinker video on Screwattack and he makes a valid point. Nintendo, why do you hate money?! This is what I mean. What you are doing right now is stupid! The thing with the Youtube creator program is dumb! And why do hate people that criticize your games? This isn't aiming at just Nintendo but life in general. Criticism is good for you and it helps you grow as a person. And why do you claim copyright for videogame reviewers and lets-players? They're helping you because it sparks interest in people to buy your games! Look at the indie scene! These new developers are making excellent games that are based off of yours. Come on, Nintendo! You can lead the 8th generation of video games and beat Sony and Microsoft rightnow if you fix these things:
1. The New 3DS shenanigans. :Make it less complicated!
2. Use your other franchises! :It attracts old fans and new fans to new ideas they never seen before
3.Fix your relationships with YouTubers: Just stop your creator program and leave your fans that want to help you alone
4. Reach out to your fans : Think of games you fans want or ports and make them. The world is more than just Japan
5. Adapt to today's society :What I mean is to not look at the latest trends, but gaming is more popular today than it was in the 90's. For example: Look at what Disney is doing these days. I can't explain it, but do that.
6. Add GameCube games to Virtual Console :Are you serious?! Wii games made it into the eShop before GameCube? Nothing wrong with that, but come on, Nintendo, you put games from every console generation that your were involved in except the GameCube era. By this point, we'll get Game and Watch games before GameCube. Come on, you have the GameCube adaptor, so use it for something else! Speaking of which...
7. Have better relationships with retailers
rime example are the amiibo. Do you not think they're gonna sell a lot? Come on, Nintendo, have better self-esteem. Not just the amiibo. Also, with the GameCube adaptors, the limited editon New 3DSs,
