Shadows in the Corner of my Eye

For my first blog, I think it would be best to talk about the phenomenon that occurs often with me at the wrong time. So I'm sure we know about these shadows, right? While looking it up, the best info I could find was that this apparently happens because of a detached retina (which sadly leads to vision loss and I already wear glasses so...). Now I couldn't find when this event can occur. But the thing with me is that it occurs in the dark areas of the house (mostly in the kitchen, where I'm surrounded by two dark areas: the living room and the foyer). Now this has me feeling very paranoid, especially when I'm busy washing dishes which makes me stop what I'm doing and leave the kitchen immediately. The worst part is last year, I read this theory creepypasta that said that these within these shadows, are monsters that want to kill you and people within the shadows keep them back. However, with age, the people can longer keep up the fight, and eventually, the monster get you. And everything goes black. I think I started seeing these shadows after I read the pasta. The fact that these shadows appear in the dark honestly makes me terrified.
