Reacting to the star power, the door slowly opens.
Hello, and this is another part of super mario 64! Today we are going to whomp's fortress to earn another star to get another stage unlocked!
In this stage, mario learns how to sneak on enemies. I have a keyboard rather than a controller, so I have to be very careful while sneaking. Above me is loads of whomps above me obviously, so I need to be even more careful. *sigh*
This was my first death, which knocks me out of the painting back into the castle. It took a while but I managed to get over the platforms and the whomps. After yet another death. This is where the difficulty went up. Then we have the piranha plants.
These creatures can rip you to shreds, and totally not nicely. You can avoid these by moving a joystick slowly, but I am using a keyboard...thing's didn't turn out that well.
Luckily I escaped after sliding on the walls to this place with falling platforms. Oh my..
After 3 retries, I made my way back up. There was a rotating platform.
After I got around it, I saw a whomp.
Make them attempt to attack you, then jump on the back. The boss used this way as well.
I made it to the boss shortly.
It makes me so mad! We build your houses, your castles. We pave your roads, and you still walk over us. Do you ever say thank you? No! Well, you're not going to wipe your feet on me! I think I'll crush you just for fun! *not entire speech included.*
So this boss was easy enough. Make him attempt to crush you, then hit his back. It was still easy as the first boss, but was still somewhat harder.
It went with "3 hits, and you are dead!" Thing with most mario bosses and all, and when it was defeated, the usual star was floating for me to take, to unlock another blog post/stage in the game! Rate for part 4!
