This is probably one of my favorite Tales game of all time, mostly because of all the innuendos, epic fails, and just plain weird humor. The only other tales game which can come close to comparison would be Tales of Vesperia, which was pretty unique for its time. Now, without further ado, let's get started!

Storyline
Battle Mechanics
Tales of Xillia, along with most of the games before it, utilities the Linear Motion Battle System (LMBS) allowing all party members in battle to roam freely without inputting commands. A new function, Linking, is introduced, which allows the player to execute Linked Artes and grants the characters special bonuses. Another function, AC, allows the player to attack as many times as wants, as long as the player has the corresponding AC to use.
Gameplay
Like the previous Tales games, the player is able to freely interact with an open world, filled with treasure and encounters, but Xillia adds a few things. Instead of your traditional leveling system, Xillia introduces the Lilium Orb, which allows the player to customize each character to they're liking. Xillia also adds Shop Expansion, which allows the player to donate either gathered materials or Gald to shops, unlocking rarer and more useful items.
Total Score: 9.5/10
While this is a very excellent game, as I cleared it in 4 weeks, there are some things that could've been done better. But hey, cut it a little slack. Thanks for reading this review, and if you want, tell me what you want me to review next. I hope it was helpful!
