(Note: I will provide Player Notes in brackets, [like so]. These will be to show what I, as a player, am thinking/feeling. I will also use arrows, <like so>, and put numbers in them. These will be the type of die I was using for a role, and the number I got, plus any modifiers. eg. <D6, 3 + 5>, <D20, 13 + 2>)
(Note no.2: Of course, these will not be like the campaigns themselves. I have a bad memory, and thus don't remeber wat actually happened, but can get the gist of it.)
--------------------
My family has been travelling for as long as I can remember. We've never stopped and settled in one area, we just keep moving. At dawn, we could be in the dryest desert, yet at dusk, we'd be in the wettest rainforest. If only I was told why...
It was just me, my sister, and our parents travelling. That's how it's always been. But one day, my parents said they were going somewhere, and that I was to wait, and guard my sister with my life.
So we waited, figuring it'd take a few hours. But as hours turned to days, we began to get skeptical. When days gave way to weeks, we realized something was wrong. Yet there was nothing we could do to save them. Who knows where they went? Walking in the direction they went would've be foolish, it had been weeks, their tracks would've been nonexistent at that point. So we did the only thing we could think of.
We started travelling yet again.
It's been years since that happened. We've travelled the entire time, just like it used to be. My baby sister has started learning how to fend for herself. And I couldn't be any better. Us Dragonborn have the natural ability to use our breath as an attack, and surprisingly enough, people really don't like getting hit by it. I've developed mine to the point that I can easily use it in any fights we get into. And boy oh boy, have we needed it.
I had been out hunting, and left my sister in a safe place. I wish I checked the area better, because I got lost very quickly. It took me hours to get back, and when I did...
My baby sister was gone.
In herplace, a note was left, right next to her favorite toy. It read,
'Come to the cave nearby if ye want t'see yer sister alive. And don't bring any weapons.'
Many emotions went through my mind in that moment. So many emotions. But I knew that there wasn't much I could do besides go to that cave.
There was one thought in my mind as I walked there. That whoever these people were...
They were gonna see what it's like fighting a true Dragonborn.
--------------------
End of Backstory. I wanted to get a little bit of writing out, and will continue when I get some good sleep. The other chapters will (hopefully) be longer as well.
