After almost 4 months of being jealous of my friend, I finally got it! Persona 4 Arena Ultimax (which will now be mentioned P4AU). This is my journey with the game. Let's see how it is.
The menus are fresh, and very colorful. Really is going all out here. It's supposed to be going for a Persona 3 feel.
I decided to try out Ken Amada (my brother calls him gay for some reason, and a lot of other things). All I can say is that he's a pretty fun character, he relies on his dog, Koramaru a lot, but you really have to take care of him, and I'm not really good at controlling 2 characters at once >.< . Still plan on playing tho.
I tried out other characters, but we'll talk about Yu first. Yu Narukami really got a lot of buffs! He's still your average character, but with a few twists. First off, he has this command where you can either grab someone and slice him off, or you can strike with an electrical attack with your sword. The grab requires some good spacing, as getting to close will for some reason make you miss your opponent... and if your electrical slice is blocked, you're gonna get punished pretty bad. That's gonna suck.
His special moves aren't changed, but with the extra boost added to it, it becomes easier to hit, and also rewards you great, but at a cost of 25 more SP. We also have a sort of electrical attack that pierces your opponent to the end of the stage. We also have this really specific command that requires you to remember the exact pattern. But it's probably really useful if you do it correctly, but I can't for the life of me >.<
His persona attacks are really good, they're both faster and not as situational, especially strong Persona attacks.
The online was actually kinda empty, but probably because I was playing at like 7 PM. Perhaps tomorrow will be good. And I'm probably going to be rekt because for some reason people are really good at these games!
