Gen 4 Pokemon Platinum Nuzlocke!

Hello everyone, today I've decided to start a Pokemon Nuzlocke for the game, Pokemon Platinum!

Rules

• If one of my Pokemon faints, they're considered dead and cannot be used in battle.
• I will nickname all caught Pokemon after Pedians.
• I can only catch the first Pokemon I run into in a route. Shines may be catched anytime, regardless is I have a Pokemon or not.
• I may not use legendary Pokemon.
• I will use the same amount of Pokemon as the gym leader or rival.

Update #1

For my starter I chose Chimchar, and nicknamed it @Mikaya

Later, I caught a Bidoof and nicknamed it, well, @Bidoof ( who else would I name it after? )

Bidoof's level 8 and Mika's level 9. The group is holding strong so far, after more training and potentially a new Pokemon, we'll head into the first gym!

Update #2

Right as I caught a Shinx I checked for a member to name it after, and Panda had just replied, so @Pandaxclone2 is a Shinx!

I later ran into an Abra who I caught and named @Marc

In the cave I ran into a Psyduck whom I named @Taiiny

Taiiny trained up with Marc, and Taiiny solo sweeped Roark's entire gym, but got super close to dying. Good thing Roark's used a Potion >.>

So yep, Taiiny, Mika, Marc, Pandax, and Bidoof have all made it past the first gym! Let's hope no one dies any time soon!

We've got a big update today!

I caught a Machop who I named @Megalegacy98

I caught a Shellos that I named @MysticFantasy

I caught a Buneary that I named @paceygym

I caught a Dustox that I named @Starry Windy

I caught a Buizel's that I named @Moon Rain

Pandaxclone evolved into Luxio!

Mikaya evolved into Monferno!

Marc evolved into Kadabra!

So, while I was grinding I ran into a Pacharisu. I ordered Bidoof to use Rollout, but the Pacharisu used Bide... I was unable to stop the Rollout and Bidoof unfortunately died. RIP Bidoof.

I was grinding and Starry Windy got trapped in a Chingling's wrap. Starry was barraged buy Confusions as I tried to KO it. It was no use. RIP Starry Windy, wish I could've used you more

So, I'm getting ready to fight the second gym leader, who do you think will be next to die. I might edit the first post to provide a brief analysis on how everyone's performing.

Update #4

So, I've been playing a lot recently. Expect another update soon!

Forgot to mention last update, but I caught a Budew that I named @N.

Caught a Ralts I named @rawrrie
Hatched a Togepi egg given to me from Cynthia, and named it after @Faithy
Obtained an Eevee from Bebe that I named @Wayne
Caught a Ponyta that I named @Vii

While making my way to Hearthome City, I fought a hiker with a Geodude. I had Megalegacy attack it, but he failed to KO. It then used Self-Destruct... RIP Mega, you where one of my strongest

While grinding N got smacked by a critical hit headbutt from a Bibarel. RIP N.

When I checked Fantina to see what level I should be, I saw her Diamond and Pearl stats on accident, so I leveled my Pokemon up to 30. Oops.

Panda evolved into Luxray!
Rawrie evolved into a Kirlia, then into a Gardevoir!
Faithy evolved into Togetic!
Mystic evolved into Gastrodon! ( Still pink though )
Moon Rain evolved into Floatzel!
Taiiny evolved into Golduck.

I then proceed to destroy Fantina and Maylene, thus giving me 4 badges! Halfway there!
