0xc0000043 and Stuck on Recovery Page

Okay...I don't know what happen exactly...but my computer self updated and then it crashed giving me the message "Error Code 0xc0000043, file not found" I never messed with any files on it and it's stuck on that screen.

When I hit F8 instead of booting up a normal recovery panel to be fixed manually it get a screen similar to this but not exactly like it

Can someone help me figure out how to fix it or link me to a how to fix website.

I have a gateway Windows 8
 
I wish I could help but I know absolutely nothing about computers except from the fat that I have a knack for getting them crashed.:confused:

Can't edit my post anymore but "fat" should be "fact" (I have a pretty dead keyboard and the screenkeyboard is not too great either)
 
When you turn your PC on, press either F9 or F10. It's one of those to set your PC back to factory setting. This works for me every time my PC messes up. Everything in your PC will be erased if you didn't save everything to a external Hard drive. After you set your pc back up. you are good to go.
 
This has never happed to me yet, so IDK what to tell you except
Are you able to get into the Windows 8 interface? I suggest entering Safe Mode and doing a system restore.
However, before anything else, I'd like it if you could try this out: http://www.microsoftfixit.net/fix-microsoft-error-code-0xc0000043/ OR http://www.microsoftdlls.com/fix-system-error-0xc0000043/
They both are guides that use a program to diagnose and repair your PC to it's former state.
You would most likely need to install it via a USB.
