Towns Folk
I thought this would be an interesting one. To me it is impossible to pick a favorite game of all time, but I can do this. The only criteria I have in making these lists is that to be fair you must have played at least about 75% of the main story. That way you have played enough of it that you know it deserves to be on this list. I'm curios as to what your favorite games of all time are! Oh and these do not have to do in any sort of ranking order. At least I'm not going to do my list that way. Also you can do me more less than 20 if you want, I just thought 20 would be a pretty good standard.

In no particular order:
1) Ocarina of Time
2) Pokemon Emerald
3) Pokemon Red/Blue
4) Chrono Trigger
5) Banjo Kazooie
6) Super Mario Galaxy
7) Super Mario Galaxy 2 (yes I thought both of them were that good).
8) Donkey Kong 64
9) The original smash (on the N64)
10) Super Mario 64
11) Mario Kart Double Dash
12) Breath of the Wild (I haven't fully played 75% but that game is massive. Plus I'm working on it right now lol)
13) Kirby's Return to Dreamland.
14) Metroid Fusion
15) Mario Supper Sluggers
16) Fire Emblem Awakening
17) Super Smash Bros for Wii U
18) Mario Kart Wii
19) Kid Icarus Uprising
20) Mario and Luigi Bowser's Inside Story

Again this is all opinionated I'm just curious as to what some of your lists would look like.

Not in any order...

1. Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga
2. The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D
3. Pokemon Ultra Sun

Well some are classics. I started gaming in 1989 and have probably played thousands of games from 15+ different consoles lol.

That was off the top of my head. Some I forgot - Half-Life 1, Secret of Mana, Mega Man 2, Metal Gear Solid 3, Tomb Raider 1, Jak & Daxter. So many great games have been made hard to choose a top-20.

I never played any of those games either. What is wrong with me lol

The only things I have older than a Wii is a Game Boy and DS (is it older? Idk). Not really anything other than Nintendo actually

Are you sure about super mario kart though? Its just too slippery.. why did nintendo make a game where breaks are a good idea?
Its just really weird and its sequels are obviously better.

Ah you've missed out on so many great games. I don't even think many of your top-20 would go into my top-40 Nintendo games much less all-time besides maybe Twilight Princess and Super Mario Galaxy. Of course you got Tetris lol. Where are the classic NES, SNES, N64, GBA, Gamecube, PC, PS1, PS2, Original Xbox games?

It changed the face of kart racing and historical value means more to me when ranking a top list. It's still highly regarded and playable.

Off the top of my head, in no particular order and restricted to one game per franchise to keep half the list from being Zelda games (which they deserve, but it wouldn't be a very varied list):

1. Final Fantasy XII
2. Final Fantasy XIV
3. Fallout: New Vegas
4. Mass Effect
5. Dragon Age: Origins
6. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
7. Golden Sun
8. Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War
9. The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind
10. Metal Gear Solid
11. Dark Souls
12. Demon's Souls
13. Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
14. Kirby Super Star Ultra
15. Pokémon Yellow
16. Radiant Historia
17. The Last Story
18. Xenoblade
19. Shovel Knight
20. Chrono Trigger

@Knight wow you think TP is the best zelda game? I respectfully disagree. Also there's two ff games there lol.

I don't think it's the best one, just that it's my favourite. Which is very much due to it being my first one, and got me into the franchise.
One's an MMORPG and the other is a "real RPG", I consider them separate for certain purposes. As most Final Fantasy fans do.

I also love twilight princess. Honestly wind waker and TP are close ties for best for me.
Twilight princess has amazing atmosphere, in a way that makes the twilight something truly to fear, and the story is great. Wind waker is similar, but the atmosphere is a feeling of exploration. While TP was extremely linear, i kinda prefered that over having no idea where the triforce peices were in WW.

Also, if you are wondering why I don’t mention any of the other games, OOT is good, but i feel like WW and TP did a good job making the good things in it even better.
Skyward sword repeating 3 levels kinda stinks. Thier is some good stuff tho like groose and motion controls was a good idea, but it could have been better.

Breath of the wild didn’t have a good enough story, and I really wanted some good dungeons, and i hate how easy it is to just run away from all the monsters, and walking around looking for korok seeds after doing all the shrines sukks especially knowing that you get absolutely nothing worth your time for it.

@luigiFTW don't get me wrong I like TP. I had a lot of fun with that game (aside from collecting those god d*** tears of light). Personally I just think there are better zelda games. (My two favs are oot and botw).

@Knight oh I did not that those two ff games were considered different. I've never really played final fantasy myself. I only got into rpgs recently, and final fantasy has never been super prevalent on nintendo systems (I don't have a playstation or xbox). I do plan to get FF7 when it comes to switch however. I don't know when I'll get to it but I definitely will play it. And if I like it a lot I'll get the other FF games that are coming to the switch (I forget exactly which ones they were). So....... yeah.
