I have a normal 3ds that i have had for years, is it worth trading it in for an XL? What are the benefits of having a XL? What exactly is a C stick also

I guess you should buy new 3ds xl. I know it bit expensive as compare to 3ds but 3ds xl Is worth of it, it have 90% big screen which will be more fun while playing game and it have variety of game too.

I would get the new 3ds xl. I have the old xl, but i think the new one would be better, and im trading mine in soon for the new one. The new 3ds xl has a huge screen which makes it so much better to play games on. After you get an xl, the next time you look at your regular 3ds it would look so small compared to it.

Ok, thanks! im probably going to trade in my 3ds for the new XL just wanted to see if it was worth the extra cash!

I think you should trade it in towards a New 3DS XL, if you must. The benefits include faster processing power, some exclusive games (Xenoblade Chronicles 3D is a notable example) and some exclusive features (C-stick support on Smash 3D)
What exactly is a C stick also
The C-stick is a small second Circle Pad, basically. It has the same functionality as a Circle Pad Pro. It's located slightly above the face buttons on the 3DS.

Thanks! and huh, it seems to be out of the way. But im excited for Xenoblade so im definatly getting it!

The C stick is like the second stick on the wii u pad, used mostly for camera control. Yeah, the 3ds XL is pretty nice. Though, if you have trouble with the screen/button size, and want to glamour up your 3ds than I say go for it!

Always get the newest one :D The new 3ds XL has some really better features that I'm sure that you'll like . Especially now that many games really need high processing powers . Also there might be exclusives for this console that you may like so this is definitely the right choice .

The Regular XL just doesn't have these cool features :)

I am unsure of what a regular xl is considering there is only one 3ds xl. Am I missing something here? Or whas that a typo? lolz to you either way

I never owned a regular 3DS, I only have XL but I really love it. Much bigger screen and softer graphic (from what I've seen in the game stores). I used to play my original NDS all the time and now I couldn't believe how small the screen was when I have my 3DS XL xD

"Regular 3DS XL" means "3DS XL", as opposed to "New 3DS XL".

You should go for the 3DS XL, because of the bigger screen, more battery life, and more comfortable button placement. But like everyone said, you should REALLY go for that N3ds, a ton of upgrades from the original 3ds xl and regualr 3ds

Go for the new 3ds xl. With the better processing power, You can load smash faster and other games quicker. I prefer the original 3ds cause its just right for me

The New 3ds XL seems worth it. It already has it's own exclusives such as Xenoblade Chronicles. The C Stick allows you to have total control of the camera, and it looks like it can be useful in games (Majora's Mask) Not to mention that the handheld also has NFC built in support for amiibos. Go for the New 3ds XL

So I guess you're saying 3DS or New 3DS Xl, right? Well, the New 3DS XL has improved battery life of course, bigger RAM, and dual-core processor, which allows games to run faster. There's of course the new library of games like Xenoblade Chronicles. And if you don't want a big ol' 3DS, there's the regular sized one that's coming out soon bundled with a game, a theme, and amiibo cards. And the C-Stick is actually useful in some games.
