No.

Probably not. I was expecting Fates to be on sale because of Corrin but oh no. ;~;

Ooh! Some good deals here! Most of them I already own, but I might have to pick up Mario Party: The Top 100 or Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle Gold Edition.

I have picked up Splatoon 2 on the sale, considering that I've been wanting to play this game for quite a while now.

Got to love how you can switch between eShop regions though <3 (unlike the 3DS) and possibly play on any profile.

Yeah well, you can but if you want to change the eShop region then you'll need to get another Nintendo ID as the region of the eShop will always match the region of your Nintendo ID. And you can't change the region of your Nintendo ID.

Yup, you can play on any of your profiles no matter what country you buy it from. At least, the games I've brought on my US account work when I play them on my UK account. But the funds don't carry over so yeah.. xD

eShop codes are somewhat region locked even on the switch, for example, you can't use a U.S. eShop code on the Australian eShop as it will not work. I thought nothing was region locked anymore now with the Switch. And when you do change the region of your eShop, the funds don't carry over. I don't understand why the funds can't be carried over by simply converting the currency.

Because that's a very good way to exploit it. Think of currency differences. Even steam doesn't allow you to gift games or gift steam wallet money to someone in a different country if the currencies are too different. It makes a lot of sense, and no, money isn't region locked, it's just the most sensible way to do it.

Amazon even doesn't allow you to convert funds from one country's account to another. Tell me of one website that allows different countries accounts, and allows you to transfer money between them incredibly easily like what you're wanting from nintendo :p
