So let's talk about the rumors of 8 player smash. They could do it, they did it with Mario Kart DD but if this is real what will it be like? Will the rage be real or will there be that one person with the horrible internet that makes everyone hit each other at the same time? And the board game mode, will it be like Mario party or Sonic Shuffle?

8 Player Smash sounds unreal for the 3DS. (I bet Nintendo will do it for the N3DS, though)
However, that board game mode sounds fun, I'll be waiting for Sakurai to see if the mode is really worth a play (if I get a WiiU and SSBU)
 
I meant 8 player smash on Wii u
 
I think it is unlikely, because with a 4 player smash you already dont have much spaces to hide and with 8 players, the game wouldn't be so great, because whenever you smash, you will always hit someone
 
Having 8 players fighting together is too much. Lack of space to move or jump. You cant perform your combo well because every time you move, there is an enemy beside you to destruct your move. 4 players is enough for me.

How about they have some special stages only for 8 player smash?

Now only if smash run was online

The 3DS could not handle it. Maybe, it could be a leftover from another source.
