I was exploring xfinity on demand one day and I found this movie with a picture of a blank white face. When I watch the preview it turns out to be a slender man movie, but that is not givin away by the title.
It seems like it could be an okay movie but other things that were games before movies weren't that good
(A.K.A: dragon ball revolution, halo nightfall and ect)

I think it just depends on how well they stay with the source material. I think that slenderman would be well known enough to make an accurate movie about. I just hope they don't add unnessasary crap to slender's story and mess it up, but on the other hand I don't really want them to go too much on the story and have no newness or originality. I personally would give the movie a chance, and if it doesn't go well then I guess I'll rant about it for awhile and then completely forget about the atrocity then get on with my life. I do kind of think it is really cool that they are making a movie based on a creepypasta. I would think they wouldn't make it because of the one Slenderman incident with the little girls in Wisconsin, when I first heard of it I thought it was a myth. When I saw it on the news I was pretty shocked and terrified that girls that young would be capable of doing something like that. What is the title of the movie?

I dunno. The way movie company tend to treat movie adaptations of horror games like Resident Evil and Silent Hill, most recently with Retribuition and Revelations, were results of garbage pieces of cinematography that no one will remember at the ends of the day,and even idenpendent horror titles like Annabelle and Ouijua ended up becoming cinema flops, even if I recall them having at least one scene which was scary. It could be rather interesting if they put enough effort into what they're doing, instead of a quick movie budget.I hope that is indeed what we get in the end, because Slender is one of the more popular myths out there, with a odd and frightening case in which his sole rumoring has lead a girl to commit the crime of murder! o_O
Yeah,so Hollywood, get your stuff together, and make something worth watching with what the people want to see from a Slender movie,or else, you're just not considered into making good projects out of the internet/videogames. :panda:

I think I know that slender movie you're talking about. It sucks. Don't bother. Watch marble hornets instead if you want a good slender series. And as far as the girls killing someone for slender, I find that they're idiots, nothing more, nothing less. We have idiots killing people for all sorts of stupid reasons, there's no point in giving any attention to them by this point. Also, in regards to the OP's examples, dragon ball was an anime before the games, so I'm not entirely sure if that counts. The movie DID suck, but I doubt it having games had anything to do with that. And while I never saw Nightfall, I can tell you that Forward Onto Dawn was an excellent Halo movie. Better then other crappy game movies like Dead or Alive and Resident Evil anyways
