No... No... NO... Dang... Its been confirmed by a rep of intelligent systems that they have been making paper mario u. I am so happy. It is a rumor though but most likely very true. It will be a sequel to the thousand year door. Thank god. Its been a while since a good paper mario game. I hated paper mario sticker star a lot and the wii version super paper mario was not that great. This better be good, I am very excited for E3 now. Now, we need a super mario galaxy 3 and I will explode.

Yup, Paper Mario U is happening. Sounds like fun, hoping it will be as good as Thousand Year Door. Although like @Eridan I want a Super Mario Galaxy 3. Or a Super Mario Sunshine 2 would be cool as well. But I'll take it, Paper Mario has been a rather interesting series.

Paper Mario is quite a unique series in Mario for many reasons, most, if not, all the games use totally different mechanics from the normal mario games. A paper mario U would be very intersting to see indeed. I am also looking forward to this years E3

I loved ALL the Paper Mario games, they were so awesome and creative, probably one of my favorite RPGs of all time behind Pokemon. Hearing about a new one makes me exited, I wonder what new gameplay elements will be in the new Paper Mario...

There better be some Paper Mario Amiibo :p

I thought Super Paper Mario was amazing with lots of meaningful concepts and events, but not so much with Sticker Star. It's going to be interesting to see how the story in Paper Mario 5 continues on: Will something relating to the Thousand Year Door become a problem, or will there simply be another antagonist that pops onto the scene and ensues havoc? I have a feeling that it's neither of these possibilities lol.

Looks very interesting. I loved the previous paper mario games (especially the thousand year door) and i'm sure Nintendo/Intelligent Systems can nail this one. But I really hope they don't go with the Super Paper Mario style or the Paper Mario Sticker Star style because that would probably ruin it for me. XD

I WANT THIS AND I WANT IT NOW!!! I love the paper Mario games (despite only playing 2 of them) but I have never played a thousand year door. This will be good as I'll get a chance to play it now, yay.

xD I feel the same exact way about this news! You need to play thousand year door ASAP! Best one in the series in my opinion. They need to bring back partners! Yoshi was my favorite. Totally named my zapdos Rawk Hawk, because I loved the glitzpit part.

Well, we've just seen the arrival of Paper Mario on the eShop, and that's another reason why people heavily believe in this rumor. But, in all honesty, I don't really want improvements like people have been talking about. In fact, I'd actually like to go back to the Paper Mario 64/TTYD systems. Sticker Star got too complicated, and Super Paper Mario wasn't a Paper Mario game at all; it was like an actual Mario game but with the graphics style of Paper Mario. Bring back the old combat system, add some new allies, new items, new skills, and a new storyline, and we're good to go!

Oh, nice, a Paper Mario U! I wanted to get the original from the Wii Shop Channel as one of my rewards from Club Nintendo, but I derped that up, so I couldn't get it. xD (Math is hard.) I haven't played Sticker Star, but I'd really love to get my hands on a copy of Paper Mario U. That with some amiibo would be cool. (And a Wii U so I can actually play it, haha.)

Paper mario u would be great
The only one I've ever played was paper mario 64 and i loved it. The game had a really neat story but i didn't really like the actual gameplay. The controls seemed really limited. But if nintendo were to make one with better gameplay like in mario and luigi partners in time then that would be all out worth it
