I was thinking, and I had an awesome idea for a tweak to Shulk's character design that may or may not completely change the game :p These changes may only be possible with the New 3DS's added processing power and the Wii U, but they are probably still possible.
Changing the color swap would change the party members, avoiding members that would spoil the story. The Up Special would activate your Talent Art, Down Special would switch the player in the lead, and Standard Special would switch the selected art, Side Special would use that art, and finally, Much like Little Mac's KO Uppercut, taking damage and etc. would fill the party gauge. It would only be COMPLETELY full when you grab a Smash Ball, and you could then pull off a Chain Attack.
Here's a picture of what the controls would be:

I know, It's horrible, but it's the best I could do >.<
So, what do you guys think? Yay or Nay?

XD So do you think this tweak would benefit the game, or would it become too complicated? I think it would be a fair trade, making Shulk kinda overpowered yet the only character unable to be customized.

Actually, if Nintendo wanted to keep the customization with Shulk, they could just allow players to switch Backslash and Air Slash with other arts such as Slit Edge and Shaker Edge. If Nintendo wanted to go overboard with the customization, they could also allow the customization of Final Smashes, having Shulk's Final Smashes be different Monado Arts such as Buster(Self-explanitory), Shield(Make Shulk impervious to damage and knock-back for 5 or so seconds), Enchant (Mega increase attack damage perhaps?), and, of course, the Chain Attack, where you can attack with all Party Members like in Xenoblade Chronicles. The other characters would have different Final Smashes as well if this were the case, with Cook and Mike being possibilities for Kirby.

Hm, that's a nice idea, but I'm not sure if that's going to be viable. It's not easy to decide what mode/attack to pick, and since Super Smash Bros. is such a fast-paced game, I doubt that the enemy will let you choose your mode. however, in For Glory, the chain attack would be useless as there are no items.
