Animal Crossing (GC)

Back when I used to play Gamecube this used to be one of my favorite games. Anyone else ever play it? I think a version for the Wii came out as well, but I don't have a Wii so I've never played that one. I found it especially fun because there were so many different activities you could do on it.

I loved this game so much as a kid. My neighbor, brother, and I would sit around playing it for hours on end on our own characters. Out of all the AC games I own (Wild World & New Leaf), the GC version will probably always be my favorite, New Leaf coming in at a really close second. I love this franchise in general. I suck at designing patterns, though--wish I was better.

I don't think I've ever played it. Looks good, though. I need to give this series a chance. xD

Had some good times with this game. The only issues were having to check on your town often and the inability to truly "beat" it. Nevertheless, it's another good game for the Gamecube.

I agree with the whole not being able to beat it part. I think it was probably one of the first games to utilize you having to check in often so your world didn't descend into chaos and having different events on different days which if you think about it is pretty cool.

I've never played Animal Crossing but I've heard some good things about it. How similar is it to Harvest Moon?

I loved the series when I was little I used to think the in game parents were my real parents sending me the letters, and when I met KK for the first time and he asked me for a song name I remember picking a real song thinking he knew it. Animal Crossing is the best game ever!
