New Leaf Is Great! Choose That One

hello happy new years :)

Can someone even explain HHD? I think it relies too much on ammibo. Get new leaf, everyone here has it.

HHD is basically what the title says. You design homes and other buildings in your town. It's just a spin off of NL. It doesn't rely too much on the amiibos. Amiibos just add little fun extras to the game. I prefer New Leaf myself because there is so much more to do. Perhaps start off with NL and then when you feel like some extra fun then get HHD.

I would definitely choose New Leaf, it's great. I haven't played Happy Home Designer yet, but I do want to eventually, so I wouldn't really know but I really do like Animal Crossing: New Leaf, and I'm sure you will if you give it a shot, same with Happy Home Designer too!

I think that new leaf is better cause I kick butt in that game

I would go with both cause they are both fun in their own ways but that is all just my personal opinion . It really just all comes down to what looks good to you and what peeks your interest most. They both have ups and downs to them but nothing game breaking or anything.

hello how are you ?
My 3ds is damaged

I've never played Happy Home Designer, but I've spent hours on New Leaf.
I believe HHD focuses mainly on designing the houses around a theme they give you, or something. However, New Leaf gives you so many more gameplay options and freedom. Run your town, visit the island, create your house, collect bells (Money), make friends in your town!

Overall, I'd absolutely recommend New Leaf!

New Leaf is way better. HHD only lets you design different homes. There wasn't much content in the game honestly. New Leaf already has the ability to design a house already (the player's house obviously). In New Leaf, you can fish, swim, forage, plant, collect and interact with villagers. You can also invite other players through the internet. If you still haven't bought any yet, which I doubt it, choose New Leaf.

New Leaf is definitely better, especially after the Welcome Amiibo update.

I think Happy Home Designer has become quite pointless after Amiibo additions in New Leaf. You can now add villagers using Amiibo cards, just like you did in Happy Home Designer. You can now also customize your home the exact same way as in Happy Home Designer.

Happy Home Designer is fun, I guess, but it is definitely far from New leaf.

Actually, HHD is still offering a different experience, even with the decorating system imported in ACNL. You don't have to hunt down furniture and all, plus you have more projects to do than in ACNL.

I have both, though HHD is going to be my sisters Christmas present. (don't tell her. I bought it and played it myself so she won't think she'll get it.) They are very different. The most major differences are that new leaf is a life sim game and HHD is an interior designer game. I really enjoyed the bigger buildings and all the ways the villagers interact with the shops, and just how many there are. It really feels alive with so many different characters. It doesn't rely on amiibo too much, you only use those to get specific characters, and you could even get the characters you want without amiibo. It is very different from new leaf, so just whatever seems more interesting to you.

Even with the new leaf update HHD still offers a vastly different experience.

I consider HHD to be much more of a spinoff than New Leaf, which plays much more like a main series Animal Crossing game. HHD focuses too much of its energy on amiibo and amiibo cards, while New Leaf lets you design and live in your own town. Being the mayor is a plus too, I guess.
