Animal Crossing Mishaps

I didn't see a thread for this and I figure we all have a few silly stories to share about this game. So I decided why not create one?

So here's my silly story:

One night, around one in the morning, I was playing Animal Crossing right after I had finished a play through of Phoenix Wright. I had gone into the Nookling store and noticed a podium was for sale. Of course I decided I absolutely needed it for some reason and bought it. When I got to my house I wandered around trying to find the perfect place for it. That's when I noticed one of my mannequins was dressed up like Link and had a mask on. So I set the podium down smack in the middle of my bedroom. Then I put on my most formal attire, stood behind the podium, and put the mannequin on trail. His crime? Pretending to be Link. Shortly after accusing the mannequin, my brain decided it was time to sleep so I put the trial on hold. Too be honest I still haven't finished it...

Okay so one day I had gotten nostalgic and decided to play the original Animal Crossing.

I loaded my game and went about my normal day with catching bugs and collecting fruit and shells.
I was on my way to Nooks when I crossed the river and saw a HUGE fish this fish was as wide as the river I froze and quickly checked my pockets hoping I was carrying my rod.

Well it wasn't in my pockets I debated if I should run back and get the rod or forget about the fish. I decided to get the rod but when I got back it was gone.

*sigh*
