I think it is a horrible idea! It's Mario Kart and those characters will ruin it definitely. Nothing fun about that. They can make a Kirby Kart game though, which is a better idea.

It probably wouldn't happen. Kirby is 2nd party. That's why we won't be seeing Pokémon X Mario Kart, either.

No, they do not have any wheels, they just fly.

People said the same thing about Link in Mario Kart, and yet here we are. And they DID have a Kirby Kart. It's called Kirby Air Ride.

Dont like the DLC characters? Dont buy the DLC, simple as that. This is fantastic IMO, we get new worlds to race in, and we get some retro tracks, along with some bonus cars with it. You may not like it, but there are much more people out there that do like it.

Its a crossover. No big deal to that, I dont expect Nintendo to stretch this out a lot. We get 3 crossover characters, out of the 30 that we already have and only 2-3 tracks out of the 48 that exist already. Youre making a big deal about the small details that fans have been wanting. Again, if you dont want the crossover characters, dont buy/use them.
