Any NHL Hockey Fans?

I think it's pretty obvious that I am a Hockey Fan, based on my Sig and Avatar. So I'll start. My favourite NHL Team is obviously the Winnipeg Jets. It's where I am from and couldn't be more proud to have an NHL team to cheer for again (The came back in 2011), especially one that represents my province of Manitoba, Canada. I was so sad when the original Winnipeg Jets left in 1996.

Which team is your favourite?

Also aside from graphics, my other hobby is creating video's and my most popular video is this one that i created in May 31st 2012 a year after their return, take a look if you have time!.

Great video! I 'm not a big hockey fan but I do watch sport highlights every now and then and recognize all the teams. I'm from AZ and our team here is the Coyotes, but they're pretty bad lol

I'm well aware of AZ and the Coyotes, That's the team that was stolen from us lol. Arizona bought the original Winnipeg Jets. They ruined a good team. And thanks for the comment,the video has received over 21,000 views so far =)
 
Had no idea AZ did that lol It's a shame they did that; should've just started a brand new team instead of stealing one and making it horrible o_O Come to think of it, pretty much every team in AZ is bad lol

Nice, 21,000 will be my goal for videos about this site then (matches, music, etc.) lol
 
Lol, Your city and mine will always have that connection because of that fact. Hahaha, I`m really happy though with this new itteration of the Jets. Great team!
 
The Jets have certainly proven their worth since they returned. That said, I am a die-hard Montreal Canadiens fan, and I don't think that anything could ever change my decision.

I've been a Montreal fan since I really started watching hockey.
 
Haha, nice. I was always a Jets fan, back to the 1.0 days, when they left i became a Canucks fan, but I just had put the Jets 2.0 as my #1 when they returned, nothing better than supporting your hometown team. Canucks are now my #2.

To be fair, I do like the Canucks a fair bit, but the behavior from their loyal fans when they lost the Stanley Cup final that one year completely destroyed my faith in them. You don't see Montreal fans starting a riot every time the habs lose.

And funny enough, that was the year the Jets came back to Winnipeg, so that was also the same time they became my new favourite team. With the New coach change that happened with the Jets this year, they are a whole different team too! and just 2 points out of a playoff spot. I am so hoping that this is their year to make it! I want the olympic break to end already so that they can start the season up again lol

Yeah, the lockouts were ridiculous. I was scared that they weren't going to get a season this year. :/

After the lockout last season was resolved the next one we have to worry about is 9 years from now lol as last year they agreed to a 10 year deal.

I was really hoping my jets would be a surprise contender, but they really have fallen off the rails right now and have basically put their hopes out of contention.

I am thinking Colorado is going to win it this year, they are having an incredible year right now.

haha, I'm really hoping that the Winnipeg Jets will be the first canadian team to bring the cup home since waaaaaaay back, because of that i can't cheer for any other canadian team XD

It's our national past time since our country created the sport. You should of seen during the olympics this year. It was 6 am and the bars were allowed to be open and serve drinks. Not only that but the busiest highway in canada was dead. No car in sight during the Gold Medal Match vs Sweden.
