I just joined this site and have no idea how big the PL fandom is on here.

professor layton games looks great! ...but i've never try it before...

I've played all the Professor Layton games for the DS, and I loved them all! Smart puzzles, loveable characters, great story, beautiful graphics, nice music, but the only negative thing in my opinion is that they're often too short. But I love Professor Layton veeeeeeery much! :) I haven't played any of the 3DS games, because games are very expensive, so I chose games with a longer playtime above games with a shorter playtime (not always :p)

Miracle Mask is a cool game, and Azran Legacies is so worth your while. The latter, I sobbed, and more that Unwound Future.

Actually, I have played all the DS ones, and I'm playing the Azran Legacy on the 3DS. I've loved the Professor Layton series because of the music, the graphics too, and the rich background story. And the puzzles were also great, on some of them, I even spent 30 minutes !

So, I'm fan, and that's normal. Because this franchise is great !

Level-5 are sure to give the best for one of their key IP...which is unfortunate since as we know, Azran's Legacy would be the last installment of Professor Layton series. I hope European users here are excited to play Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright soon!

What? European users? I was under the impression it was going to be available for US players soon.

European first, just like many Level-5 main franchise (Professor Layton and Inazuma Eleven). No exact date for US, but it's slated for 2014 release. Well, we need more patience.

I've played the first 3 DS games, but am a huge fan, gotta start the next trilogy though,it sure seems cool enough.I'm a bit sad to see the Professor and Luke duoo end,I mean, that was a perfect idea, why ever think of ending it?As far as Layton 7 is concerned,I'm sure it's gonna be an e'shop download by the looks of it,I think they should've just added RPG to the original series.

The Layton games are just like:
Going on an actual adventure.
Solving a great mystery.
Watching a movie.
Reading a novel.
Solving a puzzle book.
Meeting new people and visiting new places.
Playing a video game.

I've played and beaten all of the DS games. I tried Miracle Mask and didn't really like it so I returned it to GameStop.

I'll probably get Ace Attorney VS. Professor Layton whenever it comes to NA.

I've currently played all of them other than Azran Legacy a multitude of times. I've always been into puzzles, and I can't get into a game unless it has a solid build story to it.

I like all of them equally, but since I was older when I played Miracle Mask, it was a little bit too predictable for me, so I didn't end up enjoying the story as much as I did the others. The puzzles and the DLC however, I loved. I'm still playing them daily.

Altogether it's a good franchise, but the price is way too high for what you get, which is essentially is 12-20 hours of game play, and no real replay value.

I can't say I've played them but my friend told me they are really good. Maybe I should give it a shot! xD

Not sure, if it's ok to call myself a fan, haven't played any of the Professor Layton games BUT I've watched some Let's Plays on it, and the games are pretty good. I'm interested in the series, and want it to do well.

That makes you a fan of the story. Until you've played a game yourself, you can't really consider yourself a fan of the series. I mean it is a puzzles based game, so if you're not doing the puzzles yourself, you can't really judge them. </3
