Any suggestions?

I'm looking for something new, preferably action. Anything similar to Darker Than Black would be excellent. I'm not a fan of mecha anime (except Gurren Lagaan and I guess Code Geass/Aldnoah Zero) and I like my anime to have good music in it.

Tokyo Ghoul seen enough to not want to (too much horror) but what's spider riders about? Sounds interesting.

Might be closer to Darker than Black without espers :

• Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom
• Psycho-Pass

Just something I thought about when I heard of Darker than Black :

• Overlord - it's an anime I enjoyed <3

Noragami I started but just couldn't get into.
I heard Tokyo esp was disappointing. But if you recommend it maybe.
Psycho pass was fantastic. Loved it
Overlord and phantom haven't heard much about. I'll chem them out

It had a good start but later on might not have caught many peoples' attention. I enjoyed it still though.

I'd say give Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom a shot before Overlord. Overlord is more like Sword Art Online rather than Darker than Black but it's still something you may enjoy if you're into RPG-like anime.

I think you would like Fate/zero, Fate/stay night UBW. You might like the K series.

ik you said you aren't a mech fan ( im not one either but i do love gurren lagann and A.Z) but Kuromukuro is worth watching. Its about a samurai from 400 years ago waking up in our time and him adapting to life and fighting an alien race in his bad <censored> samurai mech. I highly suggest it.

Ive seen just about 85 different anime series and movies. based on what you said i think you would like all three of these.
