Hello, I used to be rich in ACNL, but someone deleted my save file. I had about 1m bells using the Island beetle/shark/other expensive things found on island trick, and that's how I got the money last time. But how do I earn a lot of bells right now?

Just write a letter to a villager with a fruits as a present, he will send you a fruit back. It's not important what is in the letter.
 
There's a way you can multiply bells using a glitch, but you need a friend. You're supposed to drop a bunch of bells on the ground in you friend's town, then take the train back, and you'll have just as much as you had when they left and they'll have those bells too. You can do this until you're rich.
 
Hell, you can buy money from here for a small amount of PC. Other than that, you could do the Island beetles/sharks again or go into the Stalk Market.
 
You can use the bridge glitch to go under the map and farm beetles as well.
 
You can get 10+ mill a week from doing this. There is no hack or glitch involved and it is really simple. Just check out the turnip market. I usually buy and fill my entire inventory(240) spaces with TURNIPS which costs me 2-3 mill. Then I go to reddit and look at the turnip market for acnl there. Reddit has a page where people put up posts if they have a high turnip price in their town that day and you just need to give them your fc and you can go to their town and sell turnips. It also works with any other online acnl turnip marketplace. You need an account on reddit which you can get with just your email and then just watch for the next couple of day. You just need to check 5-6 time a day on reddit to see any new turnip prices, space fills up quick though.
With this I got the gold turnip badge easily and made about 50mill doing this. The highest ice I ever saw was like almost 700 and the most common prices are 500-600 per turnips
 
1. Go to the mayor's office and set your town ordance to Bell Boom. (Bell Boom sells things for a higher price)
2. Pay 1 000 bells to go to the island and talk to the droid to get a net and a fishing rod.
3. Grab some of the fruit from the trees and catch the bugs on the trees (The golden ones sell for ALOT)
4. Walk around and get some fish and sharks on the islands water's for they sell for a lot
5. If your inventory is full, put all of it in the basket and head home.
6. Sell the fish, sharks, and bugs at the retail store.
7. Plant the fruit at the beach so they will grow.
8. Sell the fruit also.
9. Deposit all the bells in your bank at the post office.
10. Brag to your friends that you are so rich ;)
 
The most common way to earn/make bells is to go to the Island at night and spend about half an hour catching Beetles and Sharks. By half an hour, your storages should be full, and you can go back to your Town and sell them off. You can also sell unwanted items or look for the daily Money Rock that gives off 8,000 bells.
