Anybody playing Touhou here ?

Yes, I think that nobody (or really a few people) heard about Touhou.

If you want to know what it is, I think that screenshots are better than text in a first time :

Touhou is a "Manic Shooter" game (Shoot them up, but with much more enemy attacks) with a Manga-Style.
The games were made (There's 14 Games) by only one guy: ZUN.
He made all the graphics, sounds, music, everything.

You'll need at least :

512 MB -> RAM or more.
1Ghz or faster processor
32MB (no, it's not a joke) of graphic memory or more

If you're worrying how can you avoid this, I'll answer :
Press Left Shift and check the small circle in the middle of the character. It's the hitbox.

It's really a game where you can show your keyboard-controlling skills.
In all Touhou games, there are 4 difficulties, starting from Easy to Lunatic.

Be careful also, as Game Over will affect the ending you'll get !

--> Also, a last thing: if you search the game, try taking it with an english patch, unless you're familiar with Japanese.

I know Touhou series as a hell-bullet game, from a friend, but mostly, from its music. I really love the music, even the arrangements (published in Comiket, for example). My favorite Touhou arranger is ZTS

Yes, the music is awesome, for example, the title screen from "Fuujinroku ~ Mountain of Faith" is just excellent.
I often spend 20-30 minutes in the Sound Room to listen every music.

You should check latest ZTS Touhou arrangement in his/her latest album, Selfregards 3. It's awesome. Well, both the original soundtrack and the arrangement are worth listening to.

I love touhou! I can't really beat it very easily (I can beat phantasmagoria of flower viewing, the easiest of all the games for windows 7) but it's so much fun! I don't normally play the fighting games (I mainly play the bullet hell shooters), but when I heard mokou would be playable in touhou 14.5 I immediately downloaded it after I knew that. Although I'm annoyed Elly isn't really on touhou anymore... Yuuka came back, so Elly should as well! Besides, both her stage theme, and actual theme (I prefer her actual theme), are seriously awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh my, I did play Touhou, a couple of years ago? It was pretty damn hard, but I loved the music and the characters. It got so much prettier over time, and it was hard to believe that a single person was behind this, and all the fandom that it got.

I used to play Touhou, probably 4-5 years ago, around 4-5 versions. My friend won the best Touhou 10.5 (the fighting one) player in Thailand xD
I used to compete with my friends both over the internet and at school! (only the 10.5 version).
Other touhou versions are just too eye-damaging
I still have a Touhou game app on my iphone though!

I played a couple of Touhou games and have managed to finish Imperishable Night and PCB (although with continues) on Normal. Been experimenting on how far I can get on Lunatic difficulty the last time I played until I got Binding of Isaac lol. Playing Touhou prior to that game really helped
