Anybody think Microsoft killed Rare?

Back in the SNES/N64 days Rare was a legendary developer, some of the best games in videogame history came from those guys. Donkey Kong Country series, Killer Instinct, Banjo Kazooie, Perfect Dark, Golden Eye 64, etc. Then once Microsoft got a hold of the company it seemed nothing good came from them. I don't know the full story but I think there was a bit of shuffle around with key members of the production team so that could have caused the drop in creative titles being released from them.

Y.E.S. I wish Nintendo never sold rare.

Microsoft basically has Rare creating games like Kinect Sports 1 and 2 on the 360 and now Kinect Sports Rivals on the Xbox One.

That was such a stupid move. The old games were so good and Microsoft have messed the company up. How disappointing. =/

RARE was falling apart far before Microsoft entered the frame, years before they acquired them the Goldeneye team left. Nintendo knew this and decided to not purchase the company.
