Here's how it will go down. Each character will be an original character you design, who "inherits" the powers/abilities of a smash character. They will go on an adventure to do some crazy stuff that will evolve later in the plot. Yes, you can use DLC characters to base your character if you want to.

My character takes the powers of Captain Falcon:
Falcon Punch, Kick, etc.
