Recently, my laptop has been bothering me saying I should upgrade to Windows 10, and I heard there was an update, and have been wondering, what are the disadvantages to upgrade from Windows 8 to 10? I heard the UI feels a bit weird, but i also heard you can stream from your Xbone to your PC with Windows 10, so, if any of you upgraded, could you tell me how it is?

I have windows 10 on my laptop, and I think it's a great update. They got rid of the full screen start menu so that you could have access to your desktop. And if you did like that, they added tablet mode which turns your laptop into a touchscreen tablet (if it is touchscreen). It is mostly a combination of Windows 8 and Windows 7, with newer specs like streaming Xbone. I think you should go ahead and update it, it'll be worth your time.

I think Windows 10 is pretty good for an update to the PC, it has big improvement like better Start menu+Start screen combo, Edge browser looks promising, and for some of us, Cortana (it's not available in my country, though :()

There are two setbacks that I know of when I was using Windows 10 that time, at first, it was that the title bar was having the white color all over (even though I heard that it get more colors on later updates), and the other one was the fact that you're forced to update immediately via Windows Update, especially if there was some unstable updates or unfortunate problems among them.

Either way, I personally think, whether to upgrade or not, it's up to you.

I've heard mix feelings about it. Some say it runs smooth and wonderfully and fixes a bunch of glitches. However others say that it makes your computer worse and can put bugs on to your computer. Also usually will make it lag more than when you didn't have it. Really up to you
