Aaannnd boom! goes the Dynamite.
Towns Folk
This is a vdeogame review for SoulCalibur V, so this is all based on my opinion. (If you have an opinion about this game let me hear it, but if you have an unkind opinion on my opinion then please leave.)

Personally, there are some things on here that I'm okay with. But there are other things that I have fundimental problems with. (I'm sure any of you might have more problems then I do, but that's irrelavent)

[Graphics/Sounds]
As or better than IV, this has great 3D modeling and smooth visuals, the hair looks great here as well as the armor, and the battle fields look alive too. The music is more or less the same like the sounds but there are newer voices as well as scores so that's alright.

[Controls]
Same controls as it has always been, the analog stick controls movement as you have four buttons that let you attack vertically, horozontally, kick and guard. (You can personallize the controls to better suit you.) You might have played other SC games and enjoyed it moving up in the series (or loathed it,) on here it's as responsive as it was in four and in my experience, that's a good thing to have responsive controls. I don't have an arcade stick so I can't reccomend playing with it, so I don't know how that would be.

[Gameplay]
It's still the same (Somewhat,) this game has a hightened combo-ability that feels like Tekken,
this can either be good or bad in your tastes. This game uses a meter system for now you can either build up enough power to use a Critical Edge (super attack), or use part of the gauge for a Brave Edge (EX version of a normal attack) I thought it was fine, but I would've liked to see more Diverse Critical Edges. (Most of them are either big combos or one big attack in general.) There are some new faces here but they're mostly different faces with old styles (Xiba/Kilik, Lexia/Hua, ect) putting the decendents aside, there are some newer fighters (I've only seen two and couldn't figure out how to unlock the rest.)

You can create your own characters again with styles based off of the existing rouster, and if you really wanted, there are some Tekken fighters that are only created character exclusive styles. (You only get Devil Jin from what I've seen,) there is DLC for other styles as well. (In my opinion) That's really cool to have some original characters with styles based on the Tekken fighters.

This game has a story mode, but it's Patrokalis's story only (Which is pretty bad in my opinion, because I liked seeing the stories told in IV.) at least the story has cutscenes as well as CGI cinema. There's an arcade mode, multiplayer, and options. But I can't remember if there was a
gallery,

[Score]
I... I'm not sure, it doesn't have enough good things to make it interesting... this might as well be noted as one of the many games that was meant to redeem itself but failed. Hope Namco/Bandai do better next game. (If they think about doing another one that is.)

I agree, this game was a let-down, they tried to go for something new, but it just didn't work out well, it's probably because everyone already had their own favorite characters in the series (I liked Rock, Yun Seong and Talim) and they completely cut them out. Aside from that, one of the most fulfilling aspects of a fighting game like Soul or Tekken, is unlocking the ending of each character, which, as you mentioned went to s***. If Project Soul decide to make another sequel.... I think it would be best if they retconned Soul 5
