Atlus loves Europe

This week was a sad, sad eShop update for NA 3DS owners, and a good one for Europeans because it has a heap of games on sale, most notably Shin Megami Tensei IV which costs only €9.99 / £8.99 until April 2nd. And it started its life as a $50 game.

Alongside, Conception II costs €14.99 / £13.49 until April 9th too, which is cool. No such sales in NA Still, the main thing I can't get over is SMT IV, which is why I posted this in the SMT section .-.

Will you lucky Europeans buy either of these two games?

Why would I do that ? I'm not cruel or mean !
In any kind, it won't change anything for me, I can't buy neither for now. Plus, you guys get that kind of sales more frequently than us.

But, I feel happy that finally that a company finally noticed that Europe exists. And I won't laugh at you, NA guys. I don't like making fun of others.

I've seen these games on sale previously.

I've been meaning to buy a 3DS game because I've run out of games to play, so I may pick one of the two. I'm on the fence about getting SMT, it may not be my cup of tea. However I've played the Conception 2 demo and I liked it. I'm leaning more towards that title.

@Mikaya, you should grab SMT instead. Believe me, unless you love sim dating (the premise of Conception 2).

Anyway, the base price of SMT IV in NA eShop is $30. So if you're not into Limited Edition, buy the digital version.

I don't mind the dating aspect of Conception 2, although it's a little awkward. xD

besides, I'm not a big fan of the first person battling system of SMT IV. You only see the enemies in front of you and I prefer to see the character that I'm playing as. .-.

What ?! Shin Megami Tensei IV on such a low price ?! I was always interested in this game when I first saw it but I guess it was way too expensive to buy and I don't think it's right for my age but ... those lucky EU users >.< Actually I like that EU doesn't get left out at least but those are some insanely low prices

I'd buy Conception II before SMT IV. I think I'd enjoy it more because of my perversion because SMT IV is really difficult from what I hear.

The first time you start SMT IV is really hard, I actually saved and loaded my save every 5 minutes.
Then it gets harder but it's easier to follow (there is an easy EXP and money DLC too)

About Conception II, I grabbed it for $20 the last time it was for sale (the price I wanted it), I tried it for a hour and it was average (want to finish another games first).

If you love JRPG, the best option is SMT IV, if it is for the simulation perversion then maybe.
The game isn't out on Europe yet? Weird.

Honestly it's hard to find an Atlus game that isn't worth to buy, but if you wait a couple of months you can get their titles for half its price >.>

I will give you my full recommendation for SMT IV, and just like Final Fantasy, this game has no relation with previous titles.

Smt IV isn't that hard until the 20 hour mark. I've always wanted to try out Conception, but due to certain elements, I never really had the courage to go into GameStop and buy it. Maybe one day I'll pay someone off to go buy it for me....or it will go on sale again
