Battle Maison - Super Double Battles Team

I've noticed that Super Double battles in the Battle Maison starts to get really cheap after about 30 rounds. Once you reach around round 30, the opponents bring more annoying Pokemon and annoying sets, and at 40 they start bringing Legendaries.

Some of the things they will try doing to you in Super Double Battles include combinations of confusions, infatuation, status effects, stat changes, and some radical flinches. With these kinds of sets it seems literally impossible to find a team that works around these annoying status and cheap KOs, but I have a general concept of what would be needed:

• A pokemon with access to follow me (preferably unaware clefable or volt absorb pachurisu)
• A dragon type with access to Dragon Dance and Earthquake (Like M-Altaria or Dragonite)
• A strong special attacker (Rotom-W or Chandelure)
• A check for pachurisu's weaknesses (Greninja or Sceptile)

Start off with the dragon and follow me user side by side. Have the dragon type use dragon dance and the follow me user use follow me. This lets the dragon get a free speed and attack boost. Then begin using EQ to deal massive damage to both opponents (unless immune, then switch follow me user with whatever checks the immune pokemon). From there it depends on the flow of the battle, whether you choose to shift, boost, afflict status effects, or attack depends on the situation of the battle.

I saw some teams online which managed to push through 50 Super Double Battles using a strat similar to this so I feel this would be useful for anyone looking to rack up BP. Thanks for reading and try providing more tips as to works for the Super Double Battles.

Another tip, when fighting up through the ranks, really watch the first three fights in each set of ten battles as usually there's a repeated strategy that you'll fight multiple times within that set of ten or a Pokemon you'll fight multiple times, so play slowly be vigilant.

It's funny. I got up to Super Doubles #123 without using Follow Me and a Dragon type that knows EQ. I say if you have a good strategy, wing it and see how far it can go up to. Sure I had some close calls, but I'm sure everyone has. ​
