This is a thread where you can post your good or not-so-good battle Madison attempts, win streaks, and strategys. Tell us how far you've gotten, the weirdest and most gimmicky move set you've used, or maybe just rant about the hax battle Maison uses! It doesn't matter, as long as its related to the Maison, you can post it here. Thanks!

On Omega Ruby, I'm stuck at 33wins! One time, all that was left were my Tyranitar versus a Carbink under the effects of Trick Room. Carbink was holding a King's Rock or Razor Fang and Tyranitar was holding an Assault Vest. I kept trying to land an Iron Head, but it kept spamming Dazzling Gleam. It did FIVE critical hits AND at the same time FIVE flinches! Tyranitar fainted after that and I lost! Another time, at 33wins again, I had my Mega Aggron left and was up against a Donphan. I kept spamming Iron Head and it kept spamming Earthquake. It was just a bit faster. Anyway, the first time, it took away a bit less than 1/3 of my HP and my Iron head took almost half of it's. Same thing the second time. The third time, it Earthquake critical hits and knocks me out!
On Y, I have reached a winning streak of 201 where I lost to a Choice Scarfed Terrakion, along with a Landorus and Tornadus. But that's not the story I will share. The one I will happened on the 99th battle the first time I went at the Battle Maison for real. I was using Mega Kangaskhan, Life Orb Alakazam and Weakness Policy Latios. I face up against a Choice Scarfed Terrakion, Regirock and Registeel. Terrakion beats Kangaskhan with just a tiny bit HP left and was locked in Sacred Sword, so I switched in to my Latios. I lost half my HP, but I took care of it. It then brings in Registeel. I used Surf, took almost half it's HP away, it used Explosion! They both faint and I switch to Alakazam and the NPC sends out Regirock. I used Energy Ball, Sturdy activated! It used Stone Edge, critical hit, I barely survived with just 4HP left. On the following turn, it's Gustap Berry activated and knocked me out with a Bulldoze!

I have to say, you seem very good at Maison fighting. I'm still looking for a solid team, but I'm sure I'll find one soon. The thing about Maison is it uses hax, and by that I mean that the chances if it critical hitting, status inflicting, or other chances are raised, and your chance of hitting it with a 90-95 accuracy is actually lower than that. Also, once you get int the hundreds, it adapts to your team and puts things that are strong against it to make it all the more challenging

Actually, that is completely untrue! The only thing that could be called a hax on the Battle Maison is that in the "Super" formats, everything has at least 5IVs (most have 6IVs, depends on the Pokemon)! There is a formula for the battles and they repeat every a certain number of wins. For example, somewhere in between 30 and 37 wins, there will ALWAYS be a stall team user that uses Trick Room Pokemon and a team consisting of Dusknoir, Medicham, etc. and that kind of thrainer and strategy will reappear around every 30-35 win you do. Also, until you reach 40 wins, you won't encounter any Lagendaries, but you have a higher chance of encountering ones every 50±5 wins! The game never adapts to your team, it simply get harder by generating teams that can counter an increasing number of opponents and strategies! Finally, never forget that NPCs in the Battle Maison CAN'T use mega evolutions! That is really important to keep in mind!

But what about the low accuracy moves they use, that never seem to miss? And the low accuracy moves you use, barely ever hit. Idk whats going on, but it seems they're screwing wih the odds just a tad in that stuff. Have you ever been hit with 4-5 flinches in a row? Because I have, and I'm pretty sure that never happens in a trainer battle. If you google battle maison, a lot of people agree with me that it is rather unfair

Many of the opponent's Pokemon hold items like Wide Lens and Brightpowder / Lax Incense. Also, take Stone Edge for example, it has 80% accuracy, but that is only based on a sample. That means you can even use the attack 100+ times in a row and never miss and then miss like 50 times in a row! If you are talking about flinching, most flinching moves have 30% chance to cause flinch and many opponents have Serene Grace as their ability, making it go to 60%! They may also be holding King's Rock / Razor Fang, which, while the do not stack with that 30/60% of the move, they will do a second flinch check with a 10% of the remainig 70% chance to flinch the opponent in case it hasn't already! Moving on, YES, as I told you, I was hit by 5 critical hits in a row that caused me to flinch! Finally, Critical-hits are already at 6.71% chance of happening and with a move with an increased ratio and an item like Razor Claw, it goes to ~20% likelihood to critical hit!

Whats your Maison team/strategy?

My current winstreak in Battle Mansion Single Battle is 100 wins. I did this at the very beggining of the game. My team was Mega Salamance, Landorous-T, and Aegislash. I had Talonflame at the beggining but it wasn't very effective against rock type, so I used Lando-T instead. e.e

Whats your Maison team/strategy?
At the moment I use:
Greninja (Protean) w/ Expert Belt
-Scald
-Ice Beam
-Extrasensory
-Water Shuriken (this isn't for damage, it's just to quickly change my type, so it can last another turn!)
Alakazam (Magic Guard) w/ Life Orb
-Psychic
-Shadow Ball
-Dazzling Gleam
-Energy Ball
and one of the following two, depending on my mood:
Mega Scizor
-Bullet Punch
-Swords Dance
-Bug Bite
-Aerial Ace
or
Mega Kangaskhan
-Sucker Punch
-Power-Up Punch
-Facade
-Fake Out

I'm not saying that's it's a great team, but it does the trick! I reach 30 wins just by using Greninja!
