Moon/Sun Battle Royal Thoughts and Tips

Surprised no one else has touched this topic here.

When I first attempted to grind for BP, I turned to Battle Royals instead of the Battle Tree because my Pokémon were still unready for competitive battle. Initially I got whopped but still continued to lose because I win BP either way. Now that I have IV bred and EV trained my Pokémon, I've grown to prefer Battle Royals over the Battle Tree simply because it's more fun and (arguably) has less gimmicky Pokémon

As for tips, mine would be investing in priority moves, stat-boosting moves and a Z-Crystal, for example my prized Mimikyu set for Battle Royals that has about a 90% success rate:

EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe

- Substitute
- Swords Dance
- Play Rough
- Shadow Sneak

• Priority moves can snag you extra points for revenge killing a previously hurt Pokémon (basically a kill-steal xD). (Shadow Sneak)
• Stat-boosting moves make it easier for you to sweep the Pokémon on the battlefield. (Swords Dance)
• Z-Crystal for a 100% accuracy guarantee or an extra boost to OHKO a Pokémon for a finishing blow. (Fairium Z)

Also, a specific tip for Mimikyu, try to be passive for the first few turns by setting up with Substitute and Swords Dance, because you can take advantage of your opponents hurting each other and finishing them off later.
