bayonetta getting ban in tournaments in spain

well if you haven't heard the news yet bayonetta is getting ban in all for glory smash tournaments in spain.well most of us all knew bayonetta would get but none of us actually knew it would happen but most of us thought she would get nerf like diddy kong did. the reason for this is because well she is to OP and she cant be stopped unless you were really defensive and spammed a lot and you would have to try to bait her out with counters before she got her counters on you.so what's your opinion on the banning of bayonetta in smash in Spain should she get banned in smash in spain or should she just have handicaps so she can actually be stopped without being spammed
 
Part of the problem is that she is the meta knight of smash 4. She can combo like in a real fighter, and has options that no other character is able to do, as they weren't inspired off the traditional fighting style. The real character I can see beating bayonetta is Ryu as he can semi-counter bayonetta. I still refuse to accept that bayonetta is OP, but I will admit he is one tough cookie to crack
 
I have bayonetta and I'm trying to main her and when you get those crazy combos than the match is over so even I admit she op
 
It's really become a serious issue. A lot of people have even gone as far as saying Bayonetta makes the game "Toxic" and "Not fun to play". Which somewhat makes sense, because if you play against someone that knows Bayonetta completely, you have very little chance of winning irregardless of how good you are, because she has options that outplays everyone else. Was surprised that she didn't get some nerf to help the issue or anything, but I guess now is when we see that "Bayonetta is banned" sign at tourneys.

I still don't know about the Sheik nerf as much. Sheik wasn't like some super broken character that nobody could beat, but she was just good for a lot of people. Plus she got nerfed way too hard imo, same with Diddy. Bayo deserves a nerf the most tho, but that's this is the result of fanservice I suppose :p

yeah, i think so too. that at least would've been friendlier, in my opinion. this is my personal opinion, but i feel like banning her is kind of overkill....just my thought, though. everyone can think whatever they want, idc.
 
The reason is because Bayonetta is just a BEAST in Smash. I think it is because of her excellent combo ability and get final smash which completely is unique from other Final Smashes (even more unique than Ryu's). I'm sure she is the

well that is certainly true. kind of a killjoy for me, though; cuz she's my best character. luckily im in NA, though; not Spain. hopefully they dont ban her here too; cuz then im frikkin screwed....*sigh* >_<

She's definitely strong. You could tell that she was gonna be banned just from seeing the trailer of Bayonetta in Sm4sh :p She's just too efficient in her moveset, specials and other combo kills. Bayonetta would need an extreme nerf, which would be bad to people who main her xP

Good riddance because she carries players and if you know one good combo you can destroy any casual player like me and my friend without being good.(When i say she carries players im not saying that people who are successful with her are bad im just saying that she makes them way better)

heheh, actually....i didnt even see it coming. but i didnt waste any time getting her, though; i bought a $10 eshop card the following day she was released. i knew that she would forever be my favorite. im gonna be really, really mad if they kill her power, though. i mean it. i couldnt beat anyone before i started using her; even now i dont always win, but im winning way more than i was. so im happy^^

That wasn't... that wasn't meant to be taken literally.

I'm just saying that Spain doesn't matter too much, there aren't any major players there and no major tourneys are held there either, a Bayonetta ban will only matter if it was US or Japan, it wouldn't even matter in England.

yes thats very true...i imagine if such were to occur, there would be hundreds and possibly thousands of complaints about the matter. either way, i know a lot of people would probably complain: and the amount would only increase. of course, i'd definitely complain if that happened. cuz she's the only reason i can win online.

I thought it was too early, but she has so many 0-deaths, the AI is doing this! I support the ban, and until she gets nerfed,
I think she should stay banned. She's one of my mains, but she isn't my dream character.

So, hopefully she gets nerfed, but I'm sure people will find out how she works eventually.
