Who's the strongest gym leader from ANY gym in ANY region? o.o

Hmm, not including the Champion and the Elite Four and disregarding levels, I would say maybe Crasher Wake or the Ghost women in Sinnoh? Crasher Wake was hard to beat for me-ish and the gym was hard to get past. The Ghost I had to use so many revives and still died because of that dumb Drifblem ;-;

*laughs* Yea, Drifblem are some of the only pokemon that I have a slight challenge with (excluding legendary captures),
also, Crasher Wake was pretty cool in its' own different ways! xD

The ghost type gym leader took me long when i was just a kid playing platinum lol i got stuck there for a long time then in my new save files changed to Torterra instead of infernape and it was a lot more easy i think gym leaders in Y/X OR/AS are too weak i think difficulty levels in pokemon games now are kinda easy for me i can spam an attack and beat any NPC that i find thats why i like old gym leaders and old games and leagues better

I always got stuck at the 8th gym in Pokemon Soul Silver/Heart Gold. The 8th gym is the Dragon gym by the way >,<
It was always just sooo hard for me to be and I don't know why! Clair's Kingdra was just to much for me to handle as well as her Dragonites! At least I think she has Dragonites... someone correct me if I'm wrong

Once I caught Kyogre, losing to dragon types was a thing of the past because of 1 certain strategy. I just annihilate dragon types with ice beam! My second strategy, if Kyogre's not with me, is my Dragonite's blizzard! xD

Considering his position in the game, I'd say Roark is challenging to those who bought chimchar along, I mean he swept the floor with me three times over before I went and caught another pokemon, only managing to hang on due to potions. Brock and Misty were also challenging to me as a kid, since, you know how much I love fire types, I always picked charmander, they always seemed to sweep the floor with me. Also Claire can go take a long walk off a short cliff, I found her extremely challenging

Obviously Volkner is bae. Lol jk but imo I liked Volkner. While he did have a slightly cocky attitude I kinda assumed it was more of a confident attitude. Also to add on he had a cool stance, had cool composure, and used a Luxray which should totally be a Dark Electric type tbh. But of course a close second would Claire from the Johto region.I mean she was cool even though you couldn't fight her immediately when you get to her town. (I think)

Strongest? Probably Wattson from R/S/E. God, I hated his darn magneton and his thunder bolt spam. Pair that up with my Grovyle, who could do barely anything to magneton. On top of that, the only other Pokemon I had is Swellow -_-.

And I guess this doesn't count, but May under that ******* bridge made me chuck my console at the wall :mad:

I wouldnt call him a gym leader, but I was completely annihilated by Dome Ace Tucker!! I used Infernape, Blaziken, &
Magmortar, but, with a single move: Earthquake, he reduced my team to dust... Later, I had to start all the way from the beginning just to RE- challenge him , but I changed my team up a bit. I used Infernape (epic fire blast!) & Hydreigon (not affected by earthquake + hyperbeam) &, this time, it was the Dome Ace that fell face down before me in utter defeat! xD

Let's think.. In Pokemon Gold, Silver and Crystal the first gym is kinda hard since you get a Chikorita, Totodile and Cyndaquil, and both Totodile and Cyndaquil ar okay, but Chikorita's weakness is Flying type, and at the third gym (Goldenrod's gym) Miltank is very annoying because of it's Milk Drink.. Think about it, until you have enough speed and Miltank has low HP, you see the text "Whitney used Super Potion!"

True... That can get SOOO annoying at times! Youre throwing everything at your opponent, in the heat of battle, exchanging blows, using super effectives moves & stuff- basically, youre just having a blast while battling them- & then, at the very last second (just when u THINK youve won)
your opponent uses full restore. -.-
*throws game across room* *cries* *wonders how life could possibly be so cruel*

Fantina in Pokemon Platinum easily. There were to points that really messed me up. First I had Monferno (I always chose chimchar :3) which weak to Mismagius' psybeam and the other fact that you have to face the ghost gym at an early point in game. I had to overtrain everytime I had come to that gym so I wouldn't lose again like my first time xD
