Spin Off Best mystery dungeon game?

So I've only ever really sat down and played explorers of darkness and gates to infinity (i plan on getting super when it comes out in the UK) I really want to try more of these games, so I just want to ask what everybody's favourite MD game is. I really liked the ones I've played (i don't get why gates gets so much hate) I'm just basically looking for recommendations from you guys
 
I have only play explorers of sky xD But it became one of my favourite games of all time. I don't know how many times I have replayed it, it is just awesome. When Super Mystery Dungeon comes out in Ireland I'll get it. I never really wanted to get gates to infinity because it seems too different to Explorers of Sky but Super Mystery dungeon seems a lot like explorers of sky. I don't know, I haven't seen much of it but I just feel like from the trailers it's like explorers of sky.
 
IMO, infinity is the worst one. I wouldn't spend money on it I were you.
As for best, gonna go with Sky (though I haven't played Super, yet). There's so much to do in that game lol

I agree, Sky is great! Infinity is cool too, and so is Super. I enjoy all of the MD games, though. ^-^
 
Explores of Sky :D It had a really good amount of content and the story was really awesome. I also liked how challenging it was and it did have a lot of Pokemon you can recruit and other secret things at the end of the main story. It had a good amount of features too.
 
As of now Explorers of Sky was my favorite because the story line was great and there's actually a lot of things to do and the best part in the end is conquering Destiny tower where Arceus is. Also finding out that Darkrai was responsible for starting the planets paralysis was pretty cool. Haven't played Super yet but I hope it's good.
 
Explorers of Sky is easily the best in my opinion! It has great story, is enjoyably difficult, has lots of Pokemon, tons of areas and requests and so on! I always went as Torchic with Riolu as my teammember in all of my playthrough and it was great! The boss battles were really rewarding too, especially Dialga and Darkrai! The worst game is Gates to Infinity, as it looked and felt so bad to play, I stopped right after the first boss!
 
I love Blue Pokemon Mystery Dungeon the most. It's probably partially due to nostalgia, as it was one of the first games I ever played. But it also has a beautiful story, and an amazing soundtrack. I'd talk about it for hours if I had the chance. While it may not be as good as Sky was, because admirably Sky is the best Mystery Dungeon game by miles, Blue will always be my favorite just because it was good in so many ways.
Plus, you could be an Eevee in Blue so obviously it's the best game.

Personally I think Gates To Infinity is pretty decent, not to mention it being the first PMD game that I ever cleared. And I think you should give Explorers of Sky a try as well, since it has pretty good story and lovable characters as well, and you can play Special Episodes (which involves playing as other characters to see different point of the story) as you progress through the game, which is why it's one of the best, hands down.

Personally Explorers of Sky, but I haven't got Super Mystery Dungeon yet so that may change depending on how good it is. I've seen the begining of KingNappy's playthough but only the part first episode because I didn't want to be exposed to any spoilers. But based on what I've seen it looks good.
