Best Pokemon Starter of All-Time

Who do you think is the best Pokemon Starter? Is there a certain generation with the best starters, or is there one starter that is just the best for you? I also wanted to ask, which is your favourite Sinnoh Starter?
Turtwig, Chimchar, or Piplup?
Also, what Pokemon starter do you think has the best base stats? And which one has the best looks?
 
I like Piplup the best because it is the cutest and Empoleon is the best out of those three I have to say. Inferape and Emopleon might be equals but Totetera has a reason why it is in RU :p Sinnoh is the best region! :D Tagging @Flygon and @CrashToad124 because we had a dispute about this once o_O

Is there a thread already for this?

Already a thread? Not sure, I searched it up and couldn't find it. But, I do also like Piplup, though for some reason when I had platinum I chose Chimchar.
 
I think that the best starter would probably be Charizard since it excels in many stats and can learn a plenty lot of strong and powerful moves . Asides from that however , I personally would go for a Snivy since it does have nice stats as well and a good moveset :p

Snivy :p
It is fricking awesome I love Snivy it is so calm and it uses the sunglight and it makes it faster
It's pokedex entry:
It is very intelligent and calm. Being exposed to lots of sunlight makes its movements swifter.
 
Torchic is the best cuz it evolves into Blaziken amd mega evolves into Mega Blaziken. Both Blaziken and Mega Blaziken are really powerful and they look really awesome. Though torchic may look kinda meh at first

Best starter pokemon i have picked by yet is chimchar which is really amazing and also evolve at early level which make that pokemon more strong that ever and have various moves which make that pokemon a killer

I would say charmander because of it being 1st Gen also my sinnoh is turtwig.
