I personally like the first season because I loved Pikachu's personality he was so headstrong and like tough cool anime character. I really loved when he had the bottle of ketchup and was carrying it around XD.
 
The first season is the only season I can tolerate.

No offense to anyone that likes the new stuff, but everything after Kanto just gives me a headache.
 
1st season
Everything else is trash that needs to be taken out in my opinion
