Best way to get fruits without visiting other people s towns

I like to use club tortimer to visit other people's islands so far I have lemons,oranges,cherries,mangoes,apples,and durians(apples are my towns native fruit and durians are my island's native fruit,as well as bananas) this is how i got the other fruits,plus one of my villagers gave me a cherry,and I got oranges from Isabelle.I also got coconuts through visiting other people's islands I hope this was useful

This is a good idea. I haven't joined CT yet (I'm lazy and didn't feel like it when I first read about it on the island XD). Though I do like trading with other people. You can make some good friends/trading partners that way.

That's great to know, I plan on getting New Leaf eventually (never had a chance to play because of my dog destroying my sisters copy). I love visiting other towns but it's cool to know that I don't gotta "borrow" their fruit.

The best way I learned is mailing a fruit from your town to another villager in your town to get a different but random fruit than the one you sent to that villager. I've gotten some cool fruit to decorate my town with doing this, I'd definitely recommend it.

I don't use the Club Tortimer method. Instead, I talk to my villagers. Sometimes when they are happy, they might even give you fruit! This is the way I got apples and peaches in my town. It's a really handy way of getting fruit if you talk to your villagers regularly!

To get fruit I go to tortimer island and do the bug catching event(and similar events) and only collect the fruit and at the end you get to keep the fruit.

You can go to the island and go to where you play all the island games at. Go into an island game of your choice and instead of doing the game take and look around the game grounds for fruit trees and pocket the fruit from there. All the fruit you get from in the game grounds you'll take out of the grounds and you can put it into the basket to take back to your town. Also some times for you give an animal some fruit in a letter you have a chance of getting fruit back when they write you back .
