do you like to borrow games from your friends/family? have you ever lent a game to someone, but they never gave it back? xD

I used to borrow games from my friend when I living at my mums. He had so many and I wanted to play most of them. xD

in turn, they used to borrow my games too. Better than paying to rent games or even buy them. When you get bored or complete a game, just return it! so simple! =3

I had a friend and we would always borrow each other's Wii games from time to time. It was pretty cool at first, because I got to play games that I've never played before, but whenever we would give each other our games back, my games were always scratched up... :curse:

In the end, I decided that we shouldn't borrow each other's games anymore.

I haven't borrowed a game since the Gamecube days. But I did do it a lot then, it was a great way to save money and try new games.

I don't borrow games from friends and I'm going to stop loaning my games to friends. I have a certain friend who takes a long, long time to get my stuff back to me. He still has one of my PS2 games that he keeps forgetting to bring back to me, and he borrowed it over a year ago now.

i like to trade but not borrow if i want a game i trade mine with yours if you want

I always used to lend my friend my PS3 games in return of one of his for a couple of weeks or until we completed it. We never saw the point in both buying a 1 player game when we could just lend it to each other whenever we wanted to play them. I've known my friend for a good 9 years now. So I can trust him not to scratch them and to always give them back.

Lending games is also a good idea if you are planning to buy the game but want to spend a couple of hours testing it out. Of course if it's a single player game and not multiplayer, borrowing the game before you buy it could always ruin the game when you own it officially.

I lended Kingdom Hearts 1.5 for him to borrow in March, and he still hasn't returned it.

Who did you lend it to and what console? Have you tried asking the person for it back or even tried going around his house to talk to him? Hopefully you will get your game back as I'm sure he must be finished with it by now.

Don't have to buy it yourself you say? Of course \ : D / When/if I get my PlayStation 4 later this year, borrowing PS4 games is exactly what I plan to do. Makes no sense to me to buy a single player game if you're only going to beat it once when a friend has it. If it has some replay value like Fire Emblem Awakening or it's just a game you have to get first, then yeah.

That's how I lost my Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team, Pokemon Sapphire and Magaman Battle Network 5 games. See, I trusted mostly everyone when I was younger. I'm a little smarter now though, :panda:

Sometimes, a friend of mine also has a 3DS (I kinda convinced her to get one :p) but she lives far away because her parents broke up a while ago, so I only get to see her in the holidays. I saw her last week, but she forgot to bring her 3DS with her. I still wanna borrow Luig's Mansion though, she can play Dream Team in return :)

I've got no one to borrow games from, so I just stick to playing my own. I rarely find someone else with a 3DS to play multi-player in the first place :(

I used to lend and borrow games for my PS2. My friends almost always returned the disks badly scratched or damaged in some way (most of them became unplayable after return) so I stopped lending them mine and stopped borrowing from them. :bag:
