I'm going to be honest, I see Bowser Jr. and only Bowser Jr. (No Shadow Mario) in SSB4. But, he would have the Smash logo on his bib and he would be in the Yoshi Univers because Bowser Jr. and Baby Bowser look the same as seen (Spoilers!) in Yoshi's New Island.
 
Honestly, I think Bowser Jr. should only be an assist trophy or lower for importance wise meaning there are already too many Mario characters in Smash Bros. to represent. I'd like it if all the franchises had a mention rather than an in depth look at one franchise. I would like to see some spin-off characters from the Mario series but that's it.
 
Apparently Bowser Jr. would be a Yoshi rep.
 
No he wouldn't, his main appearances are not from the Yoshi series...and that means he's not a Yoshi series rep. Kamek = Yoshi rep, Bowser jr. = Mario rep.

You do realize that Kamek is a Mario rep too. He'd be Baby Bowser not Bowser Jr.
 
Baby Bowser is no way related to Bowser Jr. Sure Kamek has been in the M&L RPG series but Kamek is more a part of the Yoshi series (don't confuse Magikoopas with Kamek because they are different). Besides, Baby Bowser would be a waste of a character slot. There are barely any moves you could give to him.

Kamek as a "character" has more of an actual presence in the Yoshi series than his regular "enemy" presence in the Mario series. Also since Baby Bowser looks exactly like his eventual son, jr(without the drawing on his bib)....there is seriously be NO actual point in trying to point out the difference of the names.
