yea, you get funny results if you mess with Pokemon games :cat: but yea, Pokemon platinum, and playable on Nintendo 3DS, all you need is a working R4 3Ds card, and a randomized messed up rom of the game. well just know i dont support piracy of games, so will say only use a copied version of the game whenever you already bought the original or whenever its a game you cant get anymore due to it being an old game. in my case, ive got the original so its all fine

what do you think? are we allowed to use copies of the games we bought for own use, as for example, modifying them? do you agree with piracy or do you think we shouldn't mess with the gaming world at all? let me know.

anyhow, i think modifying games like this wont mean any harm to anyone, as its for private use.

o and, may you have any questions like: how do you get those screenshots on your PC , How do you get an R4 3Ds or how can i get a randomized ROM for Pokemon?

well, these screenshots are from my emulator, a useful free to use tool which allows you to play nintendo game ROM's on your PC, this also works for mobile devices, but it will run really really slow so i shall say keep it on a PC/laptop

The R4 3Ds is used to put games on by using ROM's as well, you can try to find them online if you want to, just know you get a good version or not, as Nintendo has blocked a lot of versions already. and if it finds your R4 card while updating, it will block it permanently.(this card only supports older Nintendo games, not the 3Ds ones)

The Randomized ROM's can be found on the web, just type it in on google, and you shall find.

For any other questions, be sure to ask me. :cat:

I'd say yes. You bought something to have fun with it, and if having fun means to you "modifying them", then just do it as long as you don't ruin other people's fun (like going online with cheated Pokemon or something).

I am against pirating games that are available in stores. But for retro gaming, I think it's good to play on emus on better hardware than the old one (and buying that hardware would cost you an enormous amount of money that wouldn't even go to the devs...).

DraStic runs at 100% speed, except if your device is a potato. But even on my YP-GP1 with heavily outdated hardware, I get 100% speed.
