Can anybody find me- four swords anniversery addition

first off in case anyone was wondering the title is a refernece to the queen song "somebody to love". But on to the main subject, i never obtained four swords anniversery edition, and since i have no friends to play the origanal on my GBA with, does anyone know how to get this game? I mean I know it was a limited time offer, but was it put back on the eshop, or did anyone figure out a way to get the game without the eshop. Is there ANYWAY at all to get this game, because i really need it.

I don't know (remember) if they had a version for the 3DS via Virtual Console but I know that they have the GameCube version on Amazon. They have used versions for $30 or more

The only possible way to get the game for the 3dswould be if you had the game on the Dsi and you transfer it over to your 3ds, apparently. Other than that, I'm not sure about any other way. You might have to hope that maybe one day they might offer the game free again on the eShop.

4 Swords Anniversary Edition was a DsiWare The GameCube game you are referring to is LoZ: 4 Swords Adventures which is quite different.

Haha, now i gotta buy a DSi with FS aniversary edition. Oh my, i really want to play this but is buying a DSi the right thing? Chances are, however, they are going to do a promotion on the 30th aniversery and bring it back for yet another year. I find it very stupid, however, that nintendo only has this on the Eshop for a limited time. I mean, i understand the first people who got it deserve to have it free, but why don't they just let people buy such a great game for like $5 or $10, because they/I would buy the game for that price. It is a shame nintendo is just doing this.

I don't think it'd be better to buy another console just for that. Just have patience and hopefully Nintendo might again have the game in the eShop for free. Unless in the case where you do have a use for the Dsi. (Though the 3DS can already play DS games and DsiWare, I mean like gifting it to someone or something like that)

I agree with the second part, where Nintendo should sell it, but then that wouldn't make the game so special anymore It's called "Anniversary Edition" for a reason.

From what I'm reading on the zeldawiki, Four Swords: 25th Anniversary Edition was available for free download in North America due to the critical acclaim of A Link Between Worlds. It also says that it was released for DSi Shop and eShop a year before that. All I know is that if you didn't download it in 2012, then you have no other means to get it other than exploits and sites. Not that I know any.
