SSB for 3DS Can I Use My Amiibo Online?

What I mean by this is that I want to know when doing battles with friends that I could use my Amiibo, the reason for my question is that I want to try something very interesting.
 
To my knowledge, no you can't. (But you can bring your Amiibo to a friend's Wii U and it will work there.)
 
It's ok, I don't think I'll be going thousands of mile away just for pc.
 
I think that Nintendo probably did that because they didn't want players that have amino to have a advantage.

If even me i am really deceive by ht e fact that we could not play with our amiibo online because me i am a big fan of smash bros and i wanted to see how my amiibo can battle with foreign amiibo online . It could be nice like that but , i can't really know why nitendo did'nt included such a thing
