I have been thinking about this since I got my 3ds last Christmas. Can my 3ds friends see the traditional NDS games I play? It's impossible for me to see because of the pop up menu, but I am just curious. It would be super embarassing if my 3ds friends saw that I still play my old games. This is a bit of an odd question though. xD

There's nothing embarrassing about playing older games :p

May be your friend can see you palying your traditional games lol if u play those games in multiplayer mode but if you play those game offline ur friends may even never able to know what games u play lol and well said by @SunnyWindy and @Jacky \:D/ that it is not embarrassing to play old games

Ya. May I ask: What is so embarassing about playing NDS games in your 2DS, 3DS, etc.? I still play Mario Kart DS, Mario Party DS 0n my 2DS. I don't mind playing my old DS games. I think they can see what you are playing because I was online and so was a friend of mine. I decided to play Mario Kart. My friend saw that I was playing Mario Kart and he didn't care if I played DS games or not. So, I don't think it's embarassing if your friends see that you are playing your old DS games. Personally, I think it's great that you are still playing your DS games.

I'm pretty sure they can see it. I might be wrong though... I never seen any of my friends playing any lol.

And it is not embarassing to play DS games on the 3DS really. well, your friends might be very picky about it but I think it isn't. still, if they are, I recommend you turning off the wireless switch on your 3ds while playing NDS games.

No, when you play a DS game your 3DS essentially goes offline. No one can see if you're playing it.

There was a point where I couldn't see what game a person on my friends list was playing and I asked him what it was and it was the 3DS Resident Evil game. So if you want your privacy when playing Mature games (sorry, there's no X rated games I know of for the 3DS) then you have it.
