AC:NH Can you delete a local player's house from Animal Crossing New Horizons?

One Nintendo Switch and a copy of the game only lets you have one Island. That means everyone in your household who wants to play the same copy can only play under one island.

I was wondering if you can delete a local player's profile/house from the island.

Press - on the start menu, go into settings, then go into save data settings -> delete resident registration and in there you'll have the option to remove resident players. You cannot delete the first player though, you'll have to delete the whole island for that (which is done through the same options menu) and that option will also remove all player residents.

There is also 0 ways of bringing back deleted players/towns so think carefully when doing so.
