Caught A Shiny Cascoon in Petalburg Forest on First File.

Howdy, I'm Kyobomi.


When I started on my omega ruby file today, I was conflicted what to make my starter, but then I chose Muskie because he us the best imo. I've been catching every pokemon in each route for my pokedex, but when I got to petal burg Forest. I randomly encountered a shiny Cascoon.

This thing was beautiful. It was a giant silky ball of emerald green. And I caught it. It evolved into Dustox and is currently in my pc at lvl 25, I switched it out for Latios.

Question: Should I trade it? I honestly don't know myself. It's not like there aren't a ton of shines on GTS, but still.

Good for you,you should be happy shinies are very hard to get plus you got one early in the game,very lucky.If you want you should trade it but in my opinion personally I think you should keep it until you encounter any more and then.

I myself would treasure the shiny for good memories. I usually want to remember my Pokemon adventure in a game by treasuring the greatest Pokemon moments, like catching a shiny for an example.
