USE BOTH CONTROLLERS ON NES VIRTUAL CONSOLE

Honestly, I can't believe I heard this too late, mostly because it didn't find it when I read the manual >.>

EXAMPLE:
I want to play Super Mario Bros. 3


I will select 2 Player this time...


Time to go to the first level!

Luigi's time! Wait... I need the Controller 2!


OH MY GOD! IT'S WORKING!


HOW TO SWAP CONTROLLERS?
To do this, you need to press L and R at the same time.
Meanwhile you hold both buttons, you will be able to see an icon in the bottom-right corner, press Y for confirm the chance.

Congrats! You can also play with controller 2!
Or just play with Luigi >.>​

For a second I thought this was an Easter Egg in all NES games like say the GB and GBC screens in the other VCs. Unfortunately I have no real use for this since I do not have a 2P NES game . Also there should be a list of all the NES VC that support this/other Easter Eggs in the VC service.

Technically it should work with all NES titles...
Of course, they need 2-Player support.
