If anyone who plays SSB4 mains the Villager from Animal Crossing: New Leaf, this will surely be of help for you.
Tagging @Artisan as I've seen him use Villager
Did you know that Villager is COMPLETELY invincible while performing his neutral-B move, the Pocket?
When you perform his neutral-B move, you will see the Villager whipping out his hand and putting it in his pocket. Don't regard this as a useless move, as if used properly, this can make damaging Villager a living hell.
When to use this move:
When the opponent is trying to attack you with an item that belongs to their own character, you can simply Pocket it with VIllager! And here's the fun part: They won't be able to spawn that item until Villager gets KO'd!
If done properly with the right timing, Wario's motorcycle will be confiscated, R.O.B's probe will be confiscated, and they won't be able to spawn it!
However, one thing to note is that the Villager cannot keep the items in his pocket for more than 30 seconds. Otherwise, they will return to their opponent. To keep the item for longer, simply take it out and put it back in.
Villager's pocket range is ENORMOUS. He can pocket from the front, back, the air, and even an arrow that went straight through him!
Plus, if you pocket a projectile, it will be 1.5x MORE powerful than it originally was! So, if you see a Lucario trying to land that Aura Sphere kill, pocket it and counterattack!
This can also be used to avoid an aerial attack by using the B-Reverse, a technique in which you push the circle pad in one direction, and then the B and circle pad in another direction, simultaneously.
Villager laughs in the face of even Little Mac's KO punch, which can simply be dodged by pocketing it!
(Little Mac's KO punch CANNOT be blocked by your regular shield)
There is, however, a drawback: Villager is vulnerable to attacks that last long, such as Lucina/Marth's Dancing blade, or Bowser/Lemmy/Morton's drill.
Use it wisely, and happy trolling!
See Ness recovering with PK Thunder? Pocket it, and see him fall into the abyss

When to use this move:
- When recovering
- Instead of a dodge
- When the enemy is using a charged-up move
- When the enemy is trying to edge-guard you
- When the enemy is trying to hit you with a powerful projectile, such as Bowser Jr's cannonball or Mega Man's front smash.
