So I've been hearing lately that Charizard X is inferior to Y, so here are a few instructions to making an OP Mega Charizard X
1, IVS and Nature= first you need to breed a suitable Charmander, if you're a breeder you're looking to make a Charmander with Max IVs at everything cept Sp.Atk : 31/31/31/x/31/31 additionally you'd want it to be a Jolly nature as speed is critical if you wish to overwhelm your opponents. Youll need to know that in a Charizard X moveset you won't be using any special attacks as X best stat is Attack.

2 Egg moves= you're gonna want to breed your Charmander with a a poke that has the following moves- Outrage and Dragon dance. I would suggest using Dragonite or Haxorus who know these moves to breed with. However in ORAS you can teach Outrage using a move tutor.

3 EVs= you wanna focus its ev spread on Attack and Speed. you can invest the remaining 4 points om either defense or Hp, choice is yours.
4 Final Moveset= teach charizard flare blitz as its a STAB not to mention a powerfull contact attack. Although it inflicts damage back, it shouldn't matter as long as you plan on one shoting with Charizard (which is what you should be planning on doin). Finally use the TM earthquake as th 4th move.
*Flare blitz *Dragon dance *Outrage *Earthquake
this moveset in particular seems to throw off most opponents I face, shocks them and may even cause them to dc.
so there you have it, an OP Mega Charizard X guide :)

Very nice moveset and explanation on how to get it. Charizard Y is the most common of the two so it will definetly throw some people off. The biggest flaw with this set is Fairies. Once that Outrage has started, they could easily send out there Fairy and stop it. A Scizor would be a great Pokemon to have along side your Charizard X to check those Fairies out. If you don't want to be too risky though, Dragon Claw is definetly still a great move.

True, and yes scizor is a good pokemon to have alongside Charizard to tackle the fairy types. Also Charizard x isn't super affected by fairy moves so it gives a chance ( if survives one turn) to either switch out or use yet another deadly move considering you took a turn to use dragon dance.

i have actually seen more charizards x than y in the low amount of battles that i did online, and its biggest problem is earth. It's weird but you have to realize he's not flying anymore. The moveset seems like the most common one, but i havn't given charizard a try yet.
